Play More for BIPOC Joy:
|
Let's celebrate BIPOC joy! This workshop is intended for students who identify as BIPOC to play easy-to-learn improv games for students of all levels, from absolute beginners to advanced improvisers. Happier Valley Comedy's Fabienne Boisson and Chris Mirabal gleefully and gently guide you through simple improv games in a very supportive, welcoming environment focused foremost on following the FUN!
No experience necessary. Being funny is NOT required. The only requirement is a willingness to have as much fun as possible in a BIPOC-centered space of connection, joy, and play. Powerfully fun!
In the words of Hess Love, "...play is both a facet of familial love and an act of resistance... Play is medicine. Play is a reminder. Play is a connector."
