This year, we aim to hit Phase 2 of our Dream Theater Expansion, including more accessible seating for all bodies, enhanced theatrical lighting and audio system for a supported visual and auditory experience, and a lobby space to allow more connection-rich opportunities to bolster community!

sustainable equity initiative

Your support this year also helps us sustainably build our Equity Fund, which facilitates greater access for people from backgrounds that have been traditionally underrepresented and marginalized in the arts We are honored that the Equity Fund for students was used 157 times in 2024!

we're still basking in gratitude

With mind-blowing community support in 2024, we unlocked the $115,000 matching grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council to begin Phase 1 building of our dream theater. Our new theater will have a fully accessible stage, an improv-friendly set, and expanded audience seating.  Come by to visit!

Happier Valley Comedy, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that brings laughter, joy, and ease to Western Massachusetts (and the world) through the principles of improvisation. We serve up the happy through our training center, shows, and professional/personal development programs.
