"HVC means community. Through the classes and workshops I have taken, I have encountered a plethora of friends whom I might not have met otherwise.
HVC means village. Through HVC, I have found 'my people,' playful, young-at-heart, brave adults willing to be vulnerable and just plain silly.
Through improv I've managed to shed my protective skin and
rediscover the joy of freedom and my true dynamic self.
Not bad for a nerdy introvert.
When my mom saw me perform improv, she said my real self is the one on stage.
HVC classes and being on the house team, has given me the
opportunity to explore and express my otherwise hidden self."
