A Warm Approach to Improv with Will Luera!
Fall in love with your scene partner and their characters. This workshop will focus on scenes that don't require you to invent but instead discover the subtle choices that your scene partner makes and then fall in love with those choices unconditionally, flaws and all. From within these simple choices and blind love will emerge the comedy that comes with real relationships. Jump at this chance to work with the very experienced and lovely Will Luera from ImprovBoston, Improv Asylum, Florida Studio Theatre, and Big Bang Improv!
Prerequisite: Completion of Improv 4
About Your Teacher:
Will Luera is the Director of Improvisation at Florida Studio Theatre, Artistic Director of Improv Asylum, Director of Big Bang Improv and serves as the Artistic Director Emeritus of ImprovBoston. He is the co-creator of Healing Moments for Alzheimer’s, a non-profit organization that provides education, advocacy, and ministry for persons with dementia and their caregivers. Will sits on the board of CreArte Latino, a Latino-centric cultural community center in the Sarasota area. Will tours as an improv comedy actor, instructor, director and performer all across North America, South America, Europe and Asia.

*Students must be 21+ years. (In actual years, not maturity. ;)
*Our classes involve physical activity, and we could be on our feet for at least an hour.
