This is a Tier 2+ Advanced Class, which means at least one Tier 1 class PLUS additional class/experience required.
Prerequisites: At least one Tier 1 class PLUS Short Form Improv Fun (Tier 1) or performance experience with Short Form improv. If you're not sure if you meet these prerequisites, email Scott Braidman.
Are you ready to hit the ground running? At its core, Short Form is just a scene with a clear game right up front. This pre-set structure allows us to find our characters, relationship, and patterns much more quickly than normal. We'll explore just how deep we can get with a short scene and really push the boundaries of what this simpler, audience-friendly format can do. This is a great follow-up to your work in Short Form Improv Fun and a way to enhance your current long and short form performance onstage.
About your teacher:
Scott Braidman has been learning, teaching, and performing improvisation for 13 years. He has studied and performed at The iO Theater in Chicago, The UCB Theater in New York, and ImprovBoston. He's currently living right here in the Happy Valley, performing with The Majesters and The Happier Valley Comedy Show.
