Happier Kids Improv SPRING!
|
Join us for a week of improv comedy just for KIDS! If you love improv, or have never heard of improv before but like to perform or try new things - we've got just the week for you! Join mainstage performers and funny folks, Mandy Anderson and Kate Jopson, for five half-days of improv comedy fun. Get your giggles ready because there will be LOTS OF LAUGHTER! Each day will be structured (so you will know what to expect) and each day we will try new improv games and activities. Your self-expression will soar, your cheeks will hurt from smiling and your new friends will applaud your creativity. Whether you’re brand new to improv or have played a bunch already, you are guaranteed to have fun...
because that’s what improv is all about!
About Your Teachers:
Mandy Anderson is the director of an academic summer camp for high school students. She has 19 years of experience leading youth in teambuilding, outdoor programming, and group initiatives. Mandy has been a student of improv for five years and has performed with mainstage teams at Happier Valley Comedy for four years. She is excited to share her love of improv comedy with young people!
Kate Jopson is a teacher and a learner. She's been making things up on stage with her friends for six years. She started performing and teaching at Just The Funny Theater in Miami, FL and now performs regularly and teaches occasionally at Happier Valley Comedy in Hadley, MA. She is incredibly weird but pretends not to be until she is onstage.
