A BEGINNER'S IMPROV WORKSHOP FOR VALENTINE'S/GALENTINE'S/PALENTINE'S DAY
Spend your Feb. 14th celebrating laughter with your loved one! You both are invited to join Head of Happiness Pam Victor and Facilitator of Fun Maddy Benjamin in a joyful and easeful exploration of improv comedy exercises and games specifically for absolute beginners
- even those who might be a little (or a lot) nervous about improv -
in an evening of fun and giggles. What better way could there be to celebrate love than laughing together?
This 90-minute beginners improv workshop is designed especially for you and your
romantic partner, favorite pal, BFF, and/or dear family member to connect through comedy.

Prerequisite: None! This beginner's workshop is designed for people ages 18+ who are new to improv!

About Your Teachers:
Pam Victor and Maddy Benjamin are pals!
Pam Victor is an improv comedian, author, teacher, consultant, and nice person. She is the founder and Head of Happiness of Happier Valley Comedy, where Pam teaches improv to the best students in the world, as well as bringing the power of improvisation to the workplace in the THROUGH LAUGHTER program. Pam is a TEDx speaker and a recipient of The 2019 NEPR Arts & Humanities Award. TJ Jagodowski, David Pasquesi, and Pam are the co-authors of "Improvisation at the Speed of Life: The TJ and Dave Book."
Pam is a nice person and likes you already.
Maddy Benjamin is the Program Manager and Facilitator of Fun at Happier Valley Comedy. She got her start in improv in 2010 with IT: Improvisational Theater at the College of William & Mary, and joined the HVC community in 2017. Maddy is a founding member of "Not In Charge" and "Second Saturdays Presents," and performs with several HVC casts. You'll also catch her teaching advanced improv classes and Improv 4, hosting the monthly Comedy Quiz Show on WHMP, solving the NYT crossword puzzle, and serving as the unofficial laugh track for any show or class she attends.
Small but Important Details!
*Once you make your purchase, your place in the class is NON-REFUNDABLE unless we have 48 hours notice before first class AND we can get someone to fill your spot.
*Students must be 18+ years. (In actual years, not maturity. ;)
*Our classes involve physical activity, and we could be on our feet for at least an hour.
If that's an issue, please let your instructor know how we can accommodate the class to fit your needs.
