|
Get your first taste of Musical Improv! Jeff Kimball is back to introduce a new group of students to the basics of Musical Improv. Spend some time with this challenging practice in a fun and positive environment where every student feels safe taking risks and joyfully getting it wrong.
No matter what your previous musical experience is, you can do Musical Improv! You'll start to learn the basic building blocks and get a little bit of experience with musical scenework during this three hour workshop.
Saturday, August 6th, 12-3pm
Prerequisite: Completion of Improv 3
or equivalent at another theater
No musical improv experience required!
About Your Teacher:
Jeff Kimball is the Music Director of The Understudies here at HVC, a Music Director at ImprovBoston, and has been improvising across the Northeast, both on stage & behind the keyboard, since sometime in the previous millennium. He has MD'd for a wide variety of resident casts, indie teams, and other shows, in addition to music theatre. If you play your cards right, you might see him playing banjo and accordion unironically in public.
Fine Print!
*Please note that once you make your purchase, your place in the class is NON-REFUNDABLE unless we have 48 hours notice before first class AND we can get someone to fill your spot.
*Students must attend at least 2/3 of the classes to graduate to the next level.
