Art Maker Pam Victor | Improv comedian — the art of being funny on cue

"How hard can it be to stand onstage, or in front of a microphone in a recording studio, and be spontaneously witty? Ask Pam Victor, president of Happier Valley Comedy and the only Massachusetts resident outside of Boston (to her knowledge) who makes a living as an improvisational comedian."

Author

Pam is the co-author of "Improvisation at the Speed of Life: The TJ & Dave Book" along with TJ Jagodowski and David Pasquesi. She is also the author of"Baj and the Word Launcher: Space Age Asperger Adventures in Communication," a children's chapter book that uses sci-fi to teach social skills. Pam writes mostly true, mostly humorous essays and reviews of books, movies, and tea on her blog "My Nephew is a Poodle." Pam wrote the popular interview series "Geeking Out with..." in which she got deep, dirty, and improvluscious with a calvacade of improvisation's biggest brains and talents. In "Geeking Out with: The Live TALK SHOW," Pam sits down face to face in front of live audiences with comedy festival headliners, such as Rachel Dratch (Saturday Night Live), Scott Adsit (30 Rock), John Lutz (30 Rock), and Laura Hall (Whose Line Is It Anyway?)
