Positivity in Improv

Feel like your scenes often take a sour note? Tired of sets about couples in a fight? Just want a dose of positivity?
This workshop will give you the tools to make your scenes more fun and cooperative and give you the confidence to bring your personal strengths to the stage.
Prerequisite: Improv 1 at HVC or permission from [email protected]
About Your Teacher:
Allie Rivera is an improviser and writer based in Hartford, CT. She regularly performs at the Sea Tea Comedy Theater with her Harold team, Blind Date, and teaches at the Sea Tea Comedy Studios. With nearly 10 years of improv experience, she has performed throughout New England and New York with the Sea Tea Touring Company and serves on the organization’s Education team. Outside of her improv work, Allie enjoys spending time with her partner and spoiling their two cats, Billy Joel and Elton John.
Small but Important Details!
*Please note that once you make your purchase, your place in the class is NON-REFUNDABLE
unless we have 48 hours notice before first class AND we can get someone to fill your spot.
*Students must be 21+ years. (In actual years, not maturity. ;)
*Our classes involve physical activity, and we could be on our feet for at least an hour.
If that's an issue, please let your instructor know how we can accommodate the class to fit your needs.
