Puppetry Workshop

Want to learn how to puppeteer like the pros on Sesame Street and The Muppet Show?
In this 90-minute beginner workshop, Lily (and her puppet assistant, Frankie) will teach you how to bring a puppet to life! You’ll leave this jam-packed workshop with a set of puppetry techniques you can practice, including how to make your puppet breathe, move, show emotion, and talk. Plus, every participant will create their own simple puppet!
Prerequisite: Improv 1 at HVC or permission from [email protected]
About Your Teacher:
Lily Fryburg is an actor, writer, puppeteer, and improviser. As a puppeteer, she has performed in musicals, plays, sketch comedy shows, and her own digital sketches. Lily is also an improviser Oops! All Cuties at Sea Tea Comedy Theater. https://www.lilyfryburg.com

*Please note that once you make your purchase, your place in the class is NON-REFUNDABLE
unless we have 48 hours notice before first class AND we can get someone to fill your spot.
*Students must be 21+ years. (In actual years, not maturity. ;)
*Our classes involve physical activity, and we could be on our feet for at least an hour.
