How to Move Between Breakout Rooms

How to Choose & Move Between Breakout Rooms
(Only works with Zoom update Client 5.3 or later):


* Click "Breakout Rooms" at very bottom of screen
* Select preferred room
* To switch to another room, click "Breakout Rooms" icon at bottom of screen, and click on the number to the right of the room you want to join and click "Join."
* If you run into issues (or don't have the Zoom update) and can't manage to move between rooms, simply return to main room and we can manually move you to a new room. No problem!

* To return to main room, click Leave Room at bottom right of screen and select "Leave Breakout Room" (NOT Leave Meeting!)

(Rose = A highlight, success, small win, or something positive that happened.
Thorn = A challenge you experienced or something you can use more support with.
Bud = New ideas that have blossomed or something you are looking forward to knowing more about or experiencing.)

The real winners are the people who have the most fun & positive connections!

How to Play Connection Tic Tac Toe:
  • Think of or write down your answers to all 9 questions
  • Make a tic tac toe board (or use the one in your info packet) and randomly fill in the letters A-I in the nine squares
  • In breakout rooms, compare your answers with others
  • X any square that has a match (i.e., If you both wish flying was your superpower, that's a match and you both X in your B squares!)
  • 3 X's in a row - vertically, horizontally, or diagonally - is a win!
  • Cooperative Version: The group with the most winning boards at the end of the game wins! 
  • Return to main room when time is up or when everyone wins
  • Competitive Version: Move between breakout rooms until you get three in a row. Return to main room when you have a winning board. First person back is today's Connection Tic Tac Toe champion!
